That is Dave Krayem in his Krahem Racing Stealth B6. The car is a very serious bit of kit and if I am correct has been rebuilt since that footage was recorded and is now even quicker thanks to shaving of a fair bit of weight although it may have been taken since, I can't remember.

Nice vids, i think i would like a stealth B6. I can never find much info about them though. One thing i wanted to know, is the stealth B6 built up from an old prosport chassis and then converted or is each stealth a brand new car like the Ultima. I didnt know if it was like the dauer 962 where they build them from the old race cars.

I like the look of the ultima better than the stealth, ultima is a more beautiful car but the stealth looks more agressive.

The Stealth is made from all new parts and is like a 'race' Ultima if you like. It has inboard suspension and uses a Hewland gearbox and costs about twice as much to build as an Ultima. To my knowledge there is only one road legal example in existence.

What a silly idea. Who would want to dull down a race car to to make it road legal. Now, the other way round I can understand!!

The Stealth is another race car altogether and was specifically designed as such.

You are indeed correct Andy but who was responsible for its inception and why? The legendary Bob Light of course and only because he had gone as far as possible with his own race car type development of his Ultima that a new platform was required to go to the next level. Incidentally, the car in the clips brought to our attention by Crafty was originally built, owned and campaigned by Bob before Dave acquired it

So Stealth Cars is separate company that doesn’t have any ties to Ultima Sport Ltd, correct? That’s a shame if that statement is true. I sure wish that Bob Light’s work could be evaluated for future Ultima’s.

But that is still a couple of great videos Crafty! And as for the Stealth it my be a better race car but there is an certain appeal the GTR and GTW have that one can’t measure.

Not to say anything bad about Mr Krayem but, his Stealth cars are purpose built racers, he clearly knows how to setup and race very well but winning like that..there doesn't seem to be much point does there?

It takes the element of competition out of racing. I know guys who used to do that at Knockhill and Ingliston in the 80s and 90s, there are cars that do that every race meeting at Knockhill, where is the pleasure and the competition in racing like that?

I'd like to see cars of a similar vane to the Stealth racing against it, a Spice C2 or an ADA or Prosport 3000, something like that.

I am suprised that the organisers let him race a car like that in the series.

Racing to me is about improvement. It’s measured by ones ability to carry on or drive to win. The winners I’ve met have an urge or relentlessly to continuous exertion to do what it takes to get their. Therefore change is inevitable. Rules can slow change sometimes in good ways and sometimes not so good ways, but isn’t amazing what one can achieve given freedom to find the limits of man and machine?

I remember some previous posts of Scuffers, off a couple of years ago and it clearly showed the Pro Sport upright, and others have used them on their Ultimas, stating that they are the same as the Ultima. I haven’t checked the design of the Stealth upright.

If this is the case, and all cars sit at a similar right height then I would imagine that the use of this common upright would have a significant influence on the height of the Roll centre, and location of the instant centre as well.

Do Ultima, Pro spots and stealth all have horizontal lower wishbones when sitting at their designed ride height?

Stealth has completely different uprights on the rear (not sure about the front) and wishbones much longer than an Ultima (about 500mm on the front)....

The prosport uprights (I have used Prosport fronts on my car) can be used on an Ultima but they are not the same castings, I don't think the Ultima upright could take the 80mm bearing I have in mine...

The the geometry on the front upright can be easily changed but adjusting the wishbone and bearing possition along with the top and bottom push in pins, for example my geometry is not the same as the Ultima and I have wishbones similar length to the stealth.

Have a look at my front uprights in the pic below to get an idea of what I mean.

Crafty just had a look at the vids, finally found some time. You can download them of the driver’s web site as well. And that has a link to the gt90-revival site, which is where I found the following photos.

Thanks for the info on the prosport uprights Andy I had assumed that they were the same. Checking the photos of the stealth they do seem to be different in there design. I also like how you your tie rod in line with your upper ball joint on your suspension. Should make for quick and easy camber changes without having the need to re-adjust toe angle if done right.
