does anybody know, wheather the Volvo B18 engined Marcos 1800 has ever been built in Lhd version?

Yes - Road & Track mag. road tested one in Sept 65. It was one of the early type with the 'dummy' air intakes just in front of the screen. Reg. no. was D2572B.
