Hi All

Just got caught in a downpour and, yes, I spun the Tiv: over a curb, blowing both rear tyres and giving a signpost a smack on the way! Sometimes I just want to shoot myself.

Anyway, I need to take the car to a body repairers. Its not drivable currently and so need to make a decision sharpish (i.e. tomorrow) about where to go. Clearly going to be an insurance claim, so any advice for TOP QUALITY repair? I remember a post previously that mentioned Motor-craft in Pudsey? But can't find it now. Also would appreciate opinions on Drivestyle HC in Harrogate, which is where I'm based. Others?

Thanks

Sorry to hear the news. The main thing is it sounds like you are OK.
It may not make you feel better, but lots of people on here ( including me ) have done this.
Also sorry, I do not know that part of the country that well, so I cannot assist with garages.

Thanks, Dunc.

No one hurt, no one else involved and low speed. Just standing water after short but spectacular rain and a too eager right foot

I'm hoping it looks worse than it is, but, as you can imagine, I feel a bit of a muppet right now getmecoat

Yep, Sounds very similar to what I did. I'm still gutted about it ten years later.
I don't know how far away from Sheffield you are, but if no one recomends anywhere, talk to Richard Thorpe of RT Racing in the morning. His body work is first class.

Thanks to All for sympathy/help/advice clapclap

Car gone to Drivestyle HC. Straightforward repair inc new door, so looked worse - well it would when its your P&J wouldn't it - than it actually was.

Cheers beer

Big Al.
