is this box any good for me or somebody else?! sounds like a good deal?

the other thread has been removed so no idea what has been put..... I have a couple of the G96 boxs, they are basically the beefiest G50 internals in a unique getrag casing with cable shift.
These are what are used in the race cars so spares and repair and even upgrades are readily available, you can even get a sequential conversion for them.
Another bonus is that they have the same engine mounting patern so your existing G50 adapter plate and clutch should fit...
I beleive these boxs can be got for about $15k new and are not cheap 2nd hand.... also Mosler use this box in their road cars.
The long top ratio you mention sounds good as long as the box is spread to get their and it isn't just a long top gear, I have speant a huge amount of time planning the ratios in mine.... saying that the GT2 box has pretty good ratios as std for an Ultima with mph possible at 6700rpm.
