The fact that he said Jethot coating to manifolds, and transaxle included (but no photo) had me thinking it may have been a photoshopped LS1... but the square runners on the intake and the drysump tank would indicate its at least a photo of an LS7.

pretty sure that the electic throttle body on that side is the LS7 to. the ls2 has it on the other side i think.

how many LS7 vets have been stolen for parts?

This is definitely a scam - I live close to Calgary and offered to have a shipper inspect and pick up the engine, I also asked for an address and telephone number - The seller replied without supplying any contact information, but offering to ship the engine at his cost and offered it to me at $5999USD offline without using EBAY. So be very careful especially if you are one of the successful bidders or if you were contacted by the seller and offered a "deal"
