My 3R ( with M400 shocks and springs) is being set up tomorrow on a Hunter Jig. I think the operator has obtained the settings from the factory and from previous experience I know he is very capable .
Is there however any tweeks / shimming that is worth doing that can be done without machining etc.

All suggestions much appreciated

Daddysumo.

The suspension isn't adjustable other than tracking I believe.

Trevor does the machining/shimming of the uprights, no other way to adjust the camber (in the uk) at the mo.
Corner weighting will help with handling, not an expensive job either.

I find mine a little skitty, could this be down to poor tracking alone?

Machining the uprights and shims seem to be the most sensible option, Roush offer this as a drive in drive out service.

I’ve done lots of work with tire temps and wear on Corsa’s and the best set up is 2.25 degrees front and 2.5 rears. This uses the entire tire and give a constant temperature across the whole width.
