Wotcha
Does anyone know where I can get an adhesive screen heating element? As I'm still fighting the fight of getting my wedge to demist with some semblence of efficiency.

Is it dry? My intake box for the blower (the bonnet with the bulge) was always full of water after rain, so damp air on the screen etc. Only needed some new rubber but never got around to it, Apart from the rest of the car being damp. Just a quick thought, I assume the alternator can provide?

Yeah it's generally dry but the lack of puff from the screeen vents is the main cause I think.
The alternator is rated at 65Amp which is 20 amp more than my feista which runs a similar amount of gear plus a heated reaer screen so I'd have though it'll cope OK.

Don't think so, I've had all the dash apart to try and improve the situation, fitted side window vents, fitted another fan, fitted a turning vane inside the heater distribution box, and it STILL doesn't demist the entire screen properly.
I'm running out of patience with this aspect.

I think Rain X does a product for the inside. Also is the wiring to your motor OK, mainly is it reversed so blowing the wrong way? (no expert here so just a thought. Also I found a screen heater at

I think this link will work if not its Innovations under car bits

Ahh that one
Yes sorry I've already tried / bought it and its about as effective as a gentle summer breeze also rather loud.
What I was after was one of those stick-on elements originally meant for rear screens, I was intending to cut some of the lines off it and use the rest to heat the surround to boost the demist and reduce the condense a bit.

I know you can get proper heated front scrreens for minis, the same manufacturers might do them for your Tiv?

You can usually find the adverts in Mini magazine
