To comply with EU "pedestrian impact height regulations" All MK3 NC's need to be raised 30mm before import and sale in the UK.

According to Mazda the change in suspension height does not effect the Geometry positions. This is despite the magazines slating the poor handling traits of the NC in the UK.

I have set over 40 "regulation" NC's. All of them had severe calibration issues. Today i measured another new NC that the owner had lowered 30mm and guess what........? I had next to nothing to calibrate.

Proof Mazda are talking pants.

All cars follow the same design.. In essence they are two parallelograms. If the upper platform is lowered then the lower radii dynamically will be displaced. Or in this case returned.

I do feel very sorry for MK3 owners who in truth are not enjoying the real design properties of the NC. If it helps I have the corrective calibration positions for the MK3 (not available in the UK) for everyone that needs them.
