All racing at Castle Coombe has to finish by 6pm because of local sound polution reasons. They often try to get the racing timetable to start ASAP but if there have been accidents to slow up progress this is sometimes the result. Did the Mini's cause any stoppages?

A bmw 325 in the CC saloons race decided to go straight through the tyre wall at bobbies, at which point his petrol tank went up in flames. It was very very dramatic - especially as I was 10 foot from his rear bumper when he turned in...

The race was stopped & restarted for the remaining 6 laps (we then had another large smash on the start line and did a few laps under the flags.) I guess time then ran out for the forumla fords that came on after us.

Ive a black & yellow Pug 205 (number 26). Not really a regular due to a poor purchasing decision (the most unreliable car in the history of motorsport); last monday was my first race of the year. I cant make the next saloons meet in June, but im hoping to the last 4 races of the year.
