Thought the Noblity would be the best place to ask....

Does anyone have any experience of Superchips? www.superchips.co.uk

Got my van:



And it can be superchipped to 210Bhp. Anyone know how good the superchips warrenty is? Would VW actually know it had been remapped?

Are there any alternatives?


Anyway, I look forward to feedback.

I don't know about now but in the past all they used to do was put more fuel in pull some spark out and take the limiters off. But as i said it was some time ago.

lots of companies offer a remapping service

my van went from 109 bhp to 173 hp and its rather quick to say the least !!

I can outperform any other sprinter on the road, even when I am fully loaded with a 1 ton Dyno in the back !! - when its empty you can race and embarass most hot hatches

its possibly the fastest sprinter in the UK and has had a custom remap.

i suggest you get it indepenently remapped by somebody who has a rolling road to prove how much power gain you "really" got

you could try a plug in tuning box - but they never give you the best results, they are a one size fits all approach

i suggest you consider www.west-tuning.com

if its done properly - VW will never know its been remapped (unless they drive it)

be careful about how you interpret the power increases - they are quoting a 35 bhp gain - but not at full power.
