Hi - I run the 3rd line support and Operational Strategy team for a large ISP, reckoned to be Europe's fastest growing. We have presence all over Europe and are expanding rapidly into Central and Eastern Europe.

I am looking for an experienced IP engineer who wants to expand past a standard support role. This job encompasses preparing new products and solutions to be released into our operational environment, dealing with our top customers and most complex technical and support process issues. We have 2 NOCs, both in Europe but outside the UK. My team is based in the corporate HQ in Docklands.

You'll have extensive Cisco experience in an ISP (so good BGP/RIPE/general IP skills) and be open minded and creative. If you have experience of Hosting/CoLo centre infrastructures that would be great too.

We pay decent money and the benefits are good too. Due to the pace of change it's hard work but very satisfying.

PM me with your CV please - this is a REAL JOB and I want to interview very soon indeed.

thanks,

Ian

It's a bit better that that.... We're on Marsh Wall, so nearest DLR is Heron Quays and there's cheap parking down the street (or free parking under the building for motorbikes). The company is more than an ISP - we own over 50,000 km of fibre across Europe, and for much we own the duct too. Without turning this into an ad for the company, we offer IP, VoIP, media, bandwidth, DF and duct services to incumbent Telcos, corporates and SMEs across Europe and into Eastern Europe, not to mention a bunch of hosting centres in a bunch of countries. We have an industry-leading product set which is why I need a very bright and creative person for this role.

I've seen CVs for straight-up support guys, but I need someone who can work as part of a team to create and drive good practise into the whole Operations organisation.

If that's you, PM me.

Ian
