Had my new audi in for a service today and to have a few mods done like centre armrest, new style wiper arms etc etc.

The car is pretty immaculate apart from the alloys and the rear bumper that has at some point been crashed.

Audi just called and said the service and all is done with no probs (phew! its not a lemon) BUT, the tech who was fitting in rear park distance control for me has accidentally cut one of the holes too big and they are going to have to fit and spray a new bumper for me. :



What a result!!! Oh, and I get to keep the funky A3 sport back all weekend. :

...and now just wait for the phone call from the Service dept. who, having read this, decided on a quick repar to your bumper instead as it was knackered!

Hub nut fixed, front brakes sorted and just waiting on Kerridges to look at the rear CV joint which may be the route of the loaded up rumble.

Should have the car back soon. (noble that is)


Its an Audi A4 Avant, I really like rear park sensors as I don't have to turn round when reversing Only £299 fitted, and now I even get my damaged bumper repaired free aswell. Well glad I went for it! I nearly didn't last night as I thought I could live without as you say.
