Red Pressure Light not turning off with ignition off.

Recently installed new SBC 401 and G50 transaxle in Allen's old GTR. The car is fantastic, however, just experienced a problem with the red pressure warning light staying on with ignition off. With starting the car, it turns off appropriately. I have checked the wiring schematic, but still have questions. Why do I have a hot yellow wire to my LED red light that is not ignition activated?? What is the proper location and routing of the two brown white wires to the pressure sender/switch. Could the switch be bad?

Are you certain you've got the no charge warning light and the low oil pressure warning light the right way round? They're easy to confuse because they behave almost identically. The easiest way to tell the apart is to rev the engine and switch off. The no-charge warning light will come on as the engine spins down. The low oil pressure warning light should only come on a few seconds after it has stopped. If it's really the no-charge warning light that is staying on, this can happen when the rectifier pack in the alternator fails allowing the battery to discharge through the alternator.
