don't think so. I may be wrong but I think it's between Indianapolis and Arnage. There not breaking hard enough for Mulsanne and you can hear them accelerating towards Porsche Curve.

I missed this year but Im sure thats right. I think it's from 2005 or before as you can hear the whisper of the Audi R8's in the first few cars.

Tertre Rouge, u can hear the RSR's heading off into the distance down the Mulsane. If the Audi's are whispering its got to be 2006/07 and there R10's.

Love the 'Mulsanne' clip, that echoey sound as they howl through the trees gets me every time. Here's a short video clip for some sound and vision.

IMO the best sounds ever to be heard at the Le Mans Sarthe where the cars of the late 60's and early 70's. The best of this era in my preference where the Porsche 917, Ferrari 512 and Lola T70. The below clip from the film Le Mans has 2 of the best sounding engines there where in it (917 and 512)smile

That can't be right...there's the small matter of Arnarge in between Indy and the Porky bends.

Might be making a mistake, but the first bit is just after the kink before Mulsanne corner, recorded in 2002. Not sure about the rest... The CD it came on also has bits where you need to recognise the cars, and is in my collection somewhere...

well there is 4 litre judd engines in that clip so i think 2005 was the last year of those. so any year before that.
