Who's of to Vmax in their Nob then ?
Discussion
Depending on the wind and it's direction I'd say you'll get around 160mph in the Noble. You can give most things a run to the first corner though
.
Before my changes I got +/- 1mph of 160mph about 3 times in a row. After the changes it was bouncing on the limiter in 6th quite a bit before the beams.
No idea what I'll get in the GT but I'll be disappointed if I don't got over Jason's 189mph he did in his GT.

That's exactly the figure I had in mind. Again, I agree about the 1st bend. The first time I took the Esprit it only managed 152. After new cats and new waste gate accuators, the next Vmax it came up with 174 ( quite a difference. Another Esprit managed 179, but he disconnected the waste gate accuators - erm no thanks, I don't want my boost not being limited ). My final time I got 160 but it was very, very windy down the straight.
Do you thing the wing on the Nob makes any difference ? I might give it a go with and without.

The wing is said to make 2-3mph. I believe goodlife did back to back runs there. It's said to make braking a bit unstable with it off though, but I'd imagine if you go straight on and roll off the power and slowly increase the brakes you'd be fine, as it only works +100mph.
Wing mirrors are great big sails as well, but don't fold them in! Again goodlife found that at about 130mph the wind gets behind the glass and rips it out!
I know Justin used to take his front numberplate off to help cooling, but I think that'll actually slow you down.

Yeah, but that was you giving it foot to the floor action in an enclosed area! I'd say at 4000rpm steady throttle it'll be ok. There's always the option of borrowing some trackday cans.J
