Hello all I am new to this forum 
. For a while now I have been looking for a TVR Sunday car, I mainly focused my search on wedges until a V8S turned up for sale not so far from where I live.
Bought from a true piston head called Dave (Wavey).
Car runs spot on, however on the maiden voyage home last night the car ran faultess on the motorway but once of the motorway it did not want to tick over. Once home I turned it off for a few minutes to open the garage started the motor and the tick over was fine, any ideas out there.
Even got to test the water tightness due to torrential rain on the ride home, glad to report no drips.
Anybody know of Silver V8S J352 CHV.

Hi there, could be several causes, my Land Rover discovery did the same and it got progressivly worse, luckaly the Tiv has never had such a problem.
I would check your leads, theses can act up expecially if old, also the stepper motor, if its dirty and not functioning proply it affects your air fuel mix. Then there is the coolant sensor. On the discovery it was the stepper motor. Try taking it off and giving it a clean. You may find its a problem that appears then dissapears for a while. As was the case on my discovery untill it came back worse and made finding it easier. Check the plugs to see if they are ok car could be running rich or lean.

Thanks for the welocome lads, been up at the car today pottering around it, had a really good crawl round, amended a few things and noted a plug lead not pushed into the dizzy properly, who knows might have had something to do with the stalling at round abouts and junctions last night on the journey home, ( anybody got any further advise as to this problem, If not you can guarantee Ill be on here seeking further advise.

Although you're a little way off, you may be interested in the threads relating to the meetings at Ashby Folville (twixt Leicester and Melton) on the second Tuesday of the month. I think there were half a dozen S's there last month. Dave
