A lot less then I expected, in my case?

After camping and ferries etc, once on the trip, I paid for one tank of fuel in blighty at £45, and then about £100 in France, for lots of food, a BBQ, a pubs worth of lager, a t-shirt, and best of all, In my best frenglish, at the very pretty girl in the ACO building "Do you do Student discount?".

Enciente Generale - 34 Euros. Get in, ISIC riding high again, woohoo.

So what did you blag, and how much did you spend?

Spent a fair amount this year but wasn't counting.

As blagging goes we got a free night on the Tuesday in Houx for the motorhome before taking it inside onto the Bugatti on the wednesday morning so we could all camp together for the night.

Blagged the car into the centre on Tuesday morning.

A car pass to get the car into the centre again was donated by a very nice bloke who had to leave on the Thursday night.

Took £1,000 worth of Euros and came back with about £100 worth paperbag

That did include lots of tolls, 4 nights in a hotel, food for two, drink for two.

£250 worth of Euros, bit on the card. That was just the beer kitty, everything else was paid for before we left!

£200 worth of Euros, most of which went on petrol, tolls and ciggs. None left.
£60 sterling on ciggs

Would have been less but my co-pilot bailed so drove solo, so had no one to share costs with

Went on Wednesday, took £450 worth of Euros, put one fill-up and toll fee on the card, rest in cash. Went to the Bureau de Change on Tuesday, got £70 back, so about £400.

The only thing I blagged was a copy of Autosport, couldn't find it for sale in the village (considering it was their Le Mans preview issue banghead) found their pitch at Houx Annexe and asked where I could get a copy from, got a free one (albeit minus the guide)

Blagged a free flag from the ACO Shop when it was hammering down. Blagged into Maison Blanche and even more cheekily blagged a free car pass after speaking to 'Chief' - the security manager. Got through 2 and half tanks of diesel which wasn't bad for 1130 miles!

About £700 all in. Had to spend £120 on stuff at the Carefour and leave it behind, stuff like fridge, camping chairs, table etc and we left the tent behind as it wouldn't fit back in the Elise!

Still cheaper than hotel though and much more fun!!!

I am not adding it up! Spent a couple of days in bruges afterwards and I dread to think...
