anyone used or recommend vacuum brake bleeding kits which work off an air line.
I am trying to replace the brake fluid in the old Peugeot. Have tried unsucessfully to use an Eezebleed but cannot get a decent seal on the brake reservoir.

Yes, I've used them. They are very effective, but you have to be careful that you don't simply draw air past the bleed nipple (if the bleed nipple is too slack, or the vacuum too high).

There is a test on these in this months Car Mechanics. I think a Draper one came top.

My experience exactly. A cable tie to tighten the pipe onto the nipple helps.

I use a MityVac hand pump, but always seal the threads on the bleed nipples with a bit of plumbers PTFE tape (also prevents the little sods siezing in later)

Mark
