Anyone know its history?

I know the history of this engine (although it wasn't mine). It came out of a Yellow CanAm following a heavy accident 18 months ago. There are threads about it if anyone wishes to scroll back. I can confirm that it was not built by Peter Knight as stated in the advert. It was also advertised on here for several months together with other parts. It was built to a good spec probably around the 450bhp figure.

I've had enough of this tw*t. It's not one of our engines. You might see the Ebay listing magically disappear soon...

Andrew, this was a post headed 'help please' on 25.8.06 by a prime Cock. The thread has since been closed but makes for an interesting read if nothing else.

I'd pay a fiver just for that nice red distributor cap!

Na......changed my mind. Not the sort I deal with.

From a relative newbie, that not only is a good response, it sums it up. Chis. Pete.

Having just read this, and the relating thread, the blokes a illiterate tw*t with not an ounce of moral fibre in him.
Have to agree with Dilley, watch of a dead mans wrist etc
Does anyone know him in person?
Just about sums himself up with his own stupidity when he's offering 2nd class post at £2.99 for the engine!!

I agree the car should be crushed in that kind of accident, but we can't change that or the tt that bought the remains.
If the original owner had been a friend, I'd want this kind of reminder to quietly dissapear....
