Turbo heat shield bags?

Has anyone on here used a turbo heat shield bag to reduce radiant heat under the intercooler box?

I've seen bags used on other cars and some on a Noble in the States.

Was chatting to Adrian about this the other day, it would reduce engine bay heat a lot, although an allowance would have to be made for longer cool down.
Sure Adrian will be long at somepoint, as he has done more research on this.

ps. they are generally called turbo blankets.

Nimbus/cirrus sheilding under the intercooler box is cheaper.
and you wouldn't have the cooling off issue either.

I've been talking to Turbo hoses, I'm going to buy some and see how much they reduce the engine bay temps and maybe the cabin temps. The only disadvantage i can see is cooldown times will be longer.

Think that rear turbo would need a good bit of time to cool down if wrapped in a nice hot blanket. Would be a real advantage to have less cabin heat!
