go or NO go ? just got to playing around with some carbon and fiberglass, and came up with this, don't think it does a lot, but I like it.

That looks good to me - nice piece of work and I think it finishes the back of the car off as that was always dead space. Don't know how effective it will be as I assume the engine bay of your car isn't panelled on the bottom but if you were doing it as a kit I'd buy it.

Interesting, I was wondering if you could fit a diffuser under there, take it as its something you knocked up you think its probably going to be more cosmetic than actually having any aerodynamic benefit? If one could be developed that could actually work presumably one wouldn't need the GT wing?

Yo Erich, increases the rear end stability, increadibly, have noticed I can go around sharp corners much quicker than any Lotus and as for the straights wink

Nah, its just cosmetic biggrin

Hi Russ

Looks good, is it all your own work then? I'm impressed!

Is that the smallest Chevy bowtie badge on your rear grill or what!wink

It looks great, but reminds me of a buddy that broke his Ford GT's diffuser the first day he owned it by backing it out of the driveway. This one hangs pretty low too. Do you have any miles on the car with the diffuser on? Very nice CF work.

Russ

I like the diffuser, compliments the rear quite well.

Yes, all my own work, but I cheated, because I have a spare rear clip and moulded it from that, and to attach it to the car I used the same material that is used to secure the headlamp covers, so no holes had to be drilled, and when the rear clip opens, there is about 1/2 inch clearence (more luck than good judgement) Yo Dave, cracking Chevrolet bowtie badge, like hens teeth to find, I like it because it is subtle, and gives a hint of what's inside.
