Anybody on here going ?
Not really thought allot about it until recently , just assumed I would go .
Read some comments on TVR stuff a few weeks ago that put me off a bit, two pager in Sprint made me look at whats happening and I`m not sure if i am missing something.
I live 10 Min's away from Rockingham , so happy to decide on the day.
Not really into track days , not that bothered about Tuscan racing , but like looking round Tivs and trade stands and stuff yet all the bumf seems to say I need to book soon , can`t i just turn up on the day ?
Only really want to go on Sunday.
Anybody else in same position.

I'm going along with another Blackpool region member (he has a V8S). Probably travel down on the Friday evening. Both got camping spots booked. I'd better check that my tent is still in one piece, probably 6+ years since it was last used and I'll probably need a new sleeping bag also, it was a bit small the last time it was used and I've put a few lbs on since then. If it does rain I may fall back on my contingency plan and stay at relatives in Rugby.
I think the problem with the pricing is that it's probably not cheap to hire Rockingham for a weekend. Last years TVRCC event was 'Back Home' and all they needed there was to close of a part of Blackpool prom. I'm looking forward to it. Would love to do the track day but cannot afford it. Like looking at other cars and enjoy motor racing so watching the Tuscan Challange races should be good (also know one of the lads who will be racing - 16year old Micky Holden)

I got my S just before 'Back Home 2006' and couldn't convince my then-girlfriend to go down to Blackpool. I then saw the photos in Sprint and read all the craic on PH and was gutted that we missed such a great event. She's now my ex...
Anyway, I decided I didn't want to miss out on the 60th anniversary event so I booked up for the whole shebang when it was first advertised - camping, party, the lot! There have been a few slightly negative postings on PH about 'Diamond Rock' but I think it sounds superb.
Anyone else from 'up North' making this trip?

I did post a question about this, pay on the gate, but was told the club dosn't have facilities to take cards, cash or cheques. I like you Mick don't want to spend £25 pounds only for it to be a wet weekend. I can't understand why they can't take cash on the day? I'm sure this has put quite a few people off, what with the recent weather and people not knowing what they are doing until the last minute, what with busy lives an all.
I'm going - as its the 60 years bash etc.
Going with the Hants TVRCC. camping Saturday night... so should manage a few sherberts!!
Even if the weather is a bit dodgy, the camping is on the infield and I believe we'll have access to showers etc so it should be a bit of a mini Le Mans.

I'm going, taking both TVRs, but staying in a hotel.
Like quite a few people (I suspect) I was thinking of going down for some of the weekend - for a wander round the cars/chat, the drive round the oval and the Tuscans (most of the other things don't really interest me - sorry to be a party pooper but there we are) - but as there is no on the gate entry and the price with a night's stop over is silly money (assuming I could find somewhere to stay) its far too expensive for 1 day for what's on offer. It is a pity ...

(PS I'm not having a go here as I'm not organising it and don't have the detail but the idea of limiting the number of guests .. how about Tuscan drivers with sponsors etc. and others who are keen on TVR but can't get in? - and as the hire of Rock is not cheap (that's the problem with the price no doubt) I'm surprised the idea is not to get the most in they can ... on the gate entry could be arranged and could get a few more quid in on the 2 days...)
