Love the way they make Comp Eliminator sound so simple :-)

Competition Eliminator - Handicapped to equalise the vast variety of race machines that can enter this class. No breakout. First over the finish line is the winner.

....are you trying to confuse the poor woman? wink

Now.. Tweetie... it never helps when some cars double enter. You think its one class... when it is actually another. A good example is Spencer. Comp Eliminator and Super pro.

If you want some terminology check out Sharman's topendtales (found via Eurodragster.com)

I used to get stick about that from trackside photographers last year, as they could never tell who was driving at any given point. I was entered in two different classes, in two different cars, with a different race number on each. To further confuse matters, both of the cars I was driving were also being driven in additional classes by drivers other than me :-) Things are a bit simpler this year. I'm still in two classes, but it's a single car, with a single race number, and there's no one else driving it...

Are you going to the street night event on the 10th June Kirstie?
Is that a Monday? I work Monday's... frown *sigh*

How about the Summer Nats? Twist Jon's arm! I will probably Email you about certain things... best kept off a forum. smile

Tet... now that sounds confusing! Glad to see you have brought the level down a peg or two however but how did you all keep up with who's turn was it to drive? Did you ever sit out a round when the engine was rather toasty? (Thank god we have just one driver - who needs his feet nailed to the floor most meets!) When Spencer was competing at all the tracks and championships, he used two different numbers AE1 for VW Alternate Engine and SG2 for supergas. I am guessing it was probably easier for the timing crew (Andddyyy Marrss....please!) to recognise. Just to clarify, Spencer has just the one number this year, too. B/A 61 and SuPro 61. I'm not sure what is clearer....what does everyone think?

Pro ET has been called? Right, I'll be out in Shaun's Revenge, and Mick Howling will be in Grumpy's Dodge. Super Gas called? I'm out in Grumpy's Dodge, and Paul Spiers is in Shaun's Revenge. Simple really :-) Running on alcohol, Grumpy was rarely a problem when it came to overheating. Paul's Camaro got a bit warm at times, and we had to skip a qualifier, though.
