i need a dolly, not right now but if one was available i'd get one now, about to order first stages so will need one soon(ish)

anyone know where to get one, anyone getting rid - i dont really want to make one, the other thought is the stands from machine mart that was posted on here a while a go and add some castors to them

speak to ted befor buying a stiatic stand as i thought the car comes with these. i didnt have them because i had a dolly made (sorry they moved on a while ago) but seem to recall chassis has statics. i stand to be corrected though.

I got a dolly that I don't intend to use for at least a year - you're welcome to steal it while its not in use, it's fully adjustable and was used for my GTR until about 2 weeks ago...

If you check out Stigs GTR buildsite he has all the dimensions of the dolly if you want to have one made. I have a dolly it's DHGTR's old one and will be looking to move it on in about 3 months approx if you can wait.

Jason I am based in Watford, dolly cost me £50 so I would be happy with that if you can collect.

Dave , things are going well, car at factory for body prefit am hoping to be finished by March next year have gone for a 550 406ci with dry sump from AS mated to a G50/03 . With regards to other threads recently it will 50k plus at the end but punch for pound I don't think there is much to touch the Ultima. Have been following your build on here, you must be ready for the road soon? Really like tht SPA dash was it a bugger to wire?

Dan - apologies to jason, not trying to hijack this, the spa dash was fairly straight forward in the end, it was more difficult to mount the thing than wire it. i have just the engine bay and windows to do really + a few bits and bobs, trying really hard to get on the road for the summer but youve probably seen that im in Paris for a month so it really takes a chunk out of the build. still trying to get some summer tarmac under my belt though. not close enough to contemplate sva though. youre prefit will save a lot of time, i found it to be quite intensive but i am satisfied with my body fit. it all seems to come together once the body is back on but quite worrying that i havent forgotten anything.

Dolly is a one piece item however it could be cut and rewelded at yours or its pretty light and would go on a roof rack no probs

no roof rack - and no good at welding (or have a welder) may have to give this a miss, the cost of hiring a van to collect it will make the exercise a non starter, may just have to get those thingies from machine mart
