Goodwood this Sunday
Discussion
Gents,
I'm hoping to get down to Goodwood for breakfast this Sunday so hope to see some of you there.
I've tried the hotline number on the Goodwood site but it's permanently engaged so does anyone here know what the crack is? Do you just turn up? Is there a charge? Do I have to park the Noble in a field or will I get a patch of tera firma? Given it's a supercar will I get any sort of preferential treatment.....!?
Cheers,
Si

Turn up anytime from 7am really. Theme cars are likely to get in front of the cafe (eg: this time - supercars). Others go straight ahead under the bridge to the paddocks (where better cars usually are anyway!). Repmobiles, etc. get sent to the main car-park. All over and empty by midday.
Tea and butty queues are long - take a tip from Tony Van (Halen) and nip to the local McD's!

What a cracking morning that was!!
Just got back after having a blat back across the Downs and then the longest route I could find back, with a stop for lunch.
It was great to meet everybody again.
Tony, your car was as clean as always, although I think I was close, LOL.
Keith/Natalie, sorry I didn't get to chat for longer. I hope you had a good time.
Ramon, are you still in one piece after your blat to the Sea Side?
Look forward to the next one.
James

James, didn't bother with a coast run but did have a fairly enjoyable drive back. Had lunch in a pub where Humpy joined. Coincidentally, had baked Camembert and having seen what Martin says, will see how I feel tomorrow!
Humpy took me down this road he calls the "Drag Strip" and we had an amusing blat down there.

need to sort out times by the end of the week - probably early this time as we have supercars (I think?!) and want to get in front!
