Well.

After a year of some of the best motoring ever, the M400 has just pulled away in the hands of its new owner.

If the M15 materialises, I'll probably be back for some more, but either way, guess I'll need a new login for Pistonheads now smile

Obes, you'll be pleased to hear that I'm off to look at an RS4 tomorrow morning. Any tips?

I have to say this is absolutely the best buch of petrolheads I've ever met, so thanks to everyone who's answered posts from me previously. I'm sure I'll pop my nose in here every now and again, but wavey for the moment.

Bye the way, I'll be putting a leather luggage set & cover in the classifieds if anyone's interested.

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi Dave,

Sorry you're leaving the Nobility (at least for the time being).

I'd be very interested in the luggage set - I've left you a message on your mobile voicemail. Please give me a call back.

Many thanks,

Conrad.

Sorry to see you go Bugs.

But what a motor to go to!

The RS4 has always been one of my fav cars. It's quick, pratical, good looking and sounds lovely with a set of Miltek exhausts bow

All the best

Hey Dave, not too many things to worry about on the RS. You'll be spending too long lovin the noise !

Dont forget to fiddle with the seat bolsters with the two toggle switches on the front right corner of the seat base. When not in S mode (rare i admit) they don't default to fully deflated, it makes a big difference to comfort when your in comfort mode !

Dont be a stranger ! wavey

Cheers Guys,

Would love to come along to a Noble meet if I'm invited! Not sure I'd keep up though unless it's wet.

On that note Mr. Saucyboy, I'll always have fond memories of filling your coolant system up in the middle of nowhere in torrential rain. That was shortly after we’d navigated the water jump……in both directions!

Obes - thanks for the seat tips!

Conrad - the luggage is yours. I've texted my address as promised.

Cheers,

Dave.

That was a very funny day, apart from the blown fan fuse. I know I said it at the time, but thanks again mate. You'll have to come on a future meet so that I can buy you a beer.

James,
Don't be silly, that's what it's all about!
Anyway, the RS4 is in the bag so to say - collect a week Saturday.
Obes - sad to say but it felt really slow having come from a Noble! I couldn't really tell much difference between 'S' on and off, other than the noise - which is great. I'm sure it will become obvious though once I drive it more.
Cheers,
D.

Sorry to see the M400 go David...hard isn't it. Hope it was a pain-free sale.

RS4 seems to be the car of choice for many of us at the moment!

Picking mine up on Saturday. Not as quick but a good all-rounder I hope smile

Certainly is a good all rounder. yes

Although it obviously isn't as quick, it also hides it's speed so much compared to a Noble ! Swapping from one to the other makes it difficult to feel the speed and leaves me constantly looking at the speedo!
