Europe trip 6 days: Strasbourg/Turin/Nice

I'm planning a trip and have this in mind

Calais - > (via Riems) Strasbourg (1 night) -> Turin (2nights in fiat factory) - > Nice, Gap, Grenoble [route napolean) (1 night) -> back to Riems or somehwere similar (1night) -> midday ferry from Calais.

Any suggestion for roads to take, or places to stay (budget!), particularly on the way back up and close enough to get to Calais in a couple of hours.
