Coolant Question
Discussion
Apologies for these dumb questions but car maintenance is a whole new world for me – checking oil etc
I had a coolant hose failure. Having fixed the leak yesterday, I refilled with water temporarily. I now need to remove the water and refill with the correct coolant mix.
What’s the best/easiest way to empty the water out? Is it just simply pull a hose off the radiator at the front and run the car briefly?
Is there a particular coolant I should use or will any anti-freeze do?

I have just installed my new Pace Rad, was told by the factory best way to fill is to remove the small pipe on the rad that goes to the expansion tank then to fill in from the expansion tank(make sure your heater controls are set full hot as well)when the water is running out the rad clear(eg no air) then just pop the hose back on. Worked fine for me.
I used the red antifreeze concetrate.
