Great goodwill gesture on autobox mini one

Hi all,
Just writing to aknowledge some great service from BMW/Rydale Mini in Kingstanding Birmingham. My wifes Mini One Auto (52 with only 24k miles) decided to destroy its gearbox a couple of weekends back. The car got recovered to Rydale Mini who diagnosed complete gearbox failure with a repair cost of approx £4000!!!!!! Ian in the servicing dept managed to get a goodwill gesture from BMW who covered the cost of a new gearbox plus half costs towards the labour!
The car now drives better than new and we are back in love with our Mini.
