sound proffing again!!!!!!!!
Discussion
After having a good look around the car and bearing in mind the car is completed I have found some areas I think I can fill!! behind the 2 access panels under the bonnet (fuses and wiring) it is possible to get right in to the corners and upto the luggage pod and down the side of the pod slightly, also I have looked at the doors and if I make something to cover the hole (which I cannot stand) and maybe integrate a sealed handle/knob etc I could then almost completley fill the doors, obviously try and keep the weight down, I am still trying to think of a material,I have thought about using loft insulation, the areas it would be fitted cannot be seen and should never get wet, also it can be stuffed in to tight spaces and should really keep noise out,
any thoughts???

You will deprive yourself of half your load space if you fill the doors. You will be amazed the amount of light but bulky stuff you can hide in there when going to LeMans.
I think you are taking this a little too far. sound deaden the floor, engine bulkhead and any ali skin. any noise after that will be wind and road noise which are out of your control unless you drive very slowly.

I thought this but its not alot of effort to try and see what affect it has, rather than try and turn the car into a supercharged monster I thought I would concentrate on the interior and sound proofing without going too mad, I want more of a road car feel than a stripped out race car.
