Is it possible?

Seen a few cars recently and think it adds a bit of ZING to the interior. Can you get it done as a retro fit step?

Any PHers had this done?

I am fairly sure you can take yours out and can get it sprayed by your local paintshop. the only thing they will need to do is use some form of undercoat to get the paint to stick to the plastic.

When I was at RSJ a few weeks ago I saw a Seal Grey C2 they have for sale with a seal grey centre consul. It looked fantastic and really lifted the interior

Slightly off topic, but there's a recommendation for seat back painting in this thread:

Similarly Bob at RGA in Vauxhall says they've done lots of them

Thankfully, mine came as such from the factory!

Are the ones that come pre-sprayed from the factory made from a different material?

Not sure. Certainly the finish is different i.e. smooth vs the slightly dimpled surface of the standard item, but maybe this is just achieved by the primer as suggested above.
