At that price I was quite tempted. 10k miles and 19" with a few other goodies (apparently 5k of options) and in red.

That's about what I thought it would be part-ex'd for at an OPC.

I take it a private punter bought it, not trade?

Stands to reason when they are advertised at £40K now even on dealers forecourts. Thats still a very good price mind as I doubt you would be able to prize one off a private seller for under £36K even haggling very hard.

Hopefully in another years time I will be able to chop my Boxster S + £10K for one.

Could not tell if it was a private punter as I missed the buyer.

A 55k 997S July 05 with 10k on the clock definitely went to a private punter as he didn't a little jump when the hammer came down
