Mines up for renewal soon and last year it was 900 approx with A Plan, I just did looked at www.confused.com and the lowest was 738 quid from RAC which is not bad . As I am now a Porsche Club GB member does anyone know of any that do the 10 pct discount? Do A plan do it as I may get it off with them?

thanks

See my thread on Chubb Insurance.

I'd not go anywhere else now.

Did you put in your Grandad's name with you as a named driver, the car only used at weekends and kept in a garage every night? hehe

On a separate note, but still insurance related, a friend of mine has a client with an SLR and the insurers won't cover him unless there's two people in the car (can't imagine it takes much longer for 2 people to vacate it if it's car-jacked though). Another of his clients has an SLR 772 (or whatever the number is on the fancy one) and a Veyron - he has an ex-Gurka living in the flat above the garage to guard them!!
