Fat backside, leaping in = Broken seat!
Discussion
Hi all,
I leapt into my Mini on saturday, and nearly went through the floor! The base of my seat has split in half - Its a rubber/ mesh piece, held by metal clips, to keep the foam taut I guess, and to give the seat 'spring'. My car is a 93 Mayfair, and the seats are very similar to those found in a late (pre Rover 100) Metro, and Rover 200. Does anyone know whether these have the same base design? I went to a scrappy in Cannock on sat, but the Rovers were different. Cheers.
