Speedo nightmare

Ok, not a nightmare but a bit of a problem.

I had a new sensor fitted last week at Dulfords which didn't work at all and now they can't get hold of another. Apparently it could be a couple of weeks before a solution is found.

Does anyone have any other ideas? Anyone by a huge stroke of fortune managed to locate any of these sensors?

I think Richard said that the 4 and 8 pulse sensors look the same outwardly so we don't know which I have.
