Hi fellas,

I'm piecing together quite a tasty speed event on the Cerbera forum and am looking for a sellection of Nobles to run in a 1 mile sprint. Full details here....

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.

Cheers!!

Any std M400's up for this?

May also be good to compare against the high modded Noble we have?

Not sure it's worth me doing it in a std M12 but may be nice to take it to a high speed.

Less paint. Lighter? Probably best to have some Dulux on it at least.

I'll have a go if you'd like a "nearer standard" comparator

I agree, A noble over 1 mile won't catch a cerb, the reason for 1 mile is if the start is messed up then you have a chance to catch up. other than top exotica the higher end porche's are probably the only ones that will beet the cerb. I'm not sure about any of the big salloons?

A 435bhp cerbie with a decent launch will be sub-12s quarter of a mile, no idea about the full mile though. Oh and 435bhp isn't a standard cerb! (but you might have meant yours was standard, not sure!)

IME a standard car in a straight line blat will start to make ground after about +110/120mph but there's not that much in it. On twisties it's a different matter
