What is the best technique for takeoff in the 996TT, it seems there is a delay between flooring it and the turbos spinning up, although it's only a second it seems longer especially of the mark. I owned an M3 last year with the SMG box which had launch control - bringing up the revs then engauging 1st resulting in a rapid takeoff, just wondering if there is any way to over come this problem without buying a car with a manual box?

apply throttle and brake together-then come off the brake.
