black car, 4th down. Seems very good value. Anyone know anything about it? I know I could call them and ask the mileage - but just wondered if anyone else already has...

Bet it is when he's buying!! I would be amazed if he'll bid on anything without knowing how many it's done...........
I`ll guess at 77,905 miles.
Once again.... the number on the speedo dictates the most we can ask for a car, the car it`s self the price up to that point. There is not correlation between the amount of work a car has done and the number on the speedo. So yes, the number on the speedo has a bearing on the price of a car but definitely not it`s condition.
Serviced at the opc at the start of the year then 2k with a well known specialist on brakes all round etc. Possibly the finest driving 996 I`ve experienced this year.
The reason we put the mileages on the auto trader ads (and the ads on here as well usually) is because mostly it`s just an open bun fight to attract interest. With our website I don`t want people to simply play hunt the number because with older cars (and many of our cars are well over 5 years) that simply isn`t the way to go. I appreciate with something like the Cayman it`s so new that there will be little difference in condition terms between the cars and so there numbers play more of a part in determining which car to buy (though even then there is a strong argument to say that thousands of pounds less spent at the expense of some numbers on the speedo could save you depreciation in the future).
I love cars like this because I think they are great value for money and make me excited selling them. Anyone can offer good cars if they are hugely expensive but a good "price range" car takes a bit more hunting. Let`s see how long it lasts.
