Without being dealer specific the concept of Lifetime Maintenance plan seems very appealing. The spreading of a years running costs into monthly segments is very appealing to us wage slaves. It also seems superior to a Porsche warranty. I am seriously considering this route with our freinds at Bolton. Can some one point out the draw backs as it seems really that every dealer should be offering it. The draw back that I see is that it ties me into an 'indie' for servicing and I have concerns about not having 'the stamps'in my service book.

Your service book would still be stamped - just with a Hartech stamp rather than an OPC one.

TBH, if I were a prospective buyer, seeing a recognised and respected indie stamp in the service book wouldn't put me off at all. On the contrary, in fact.
