Hi all
I've just put an order in for a Cayman S for a Sept 2007 delivery. Will this incorporate any changes made to the 2008 model or should I delay my order a few months?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

The new model year kicks off with September production after a break in August, so if your car is produced in September as an '08 model you should be fine. Just specify an '08 production year model when you place the order, and stress it should be produced in September, with the emphasis on production for that date rather than delivery. Should see you OK, I think.

Thanks Loach - very sound advice. I'll call them tomorrow and stress it's an 2008 order and I'll also put it in writing to make sure that some smart alec sales agent doesn't try to pull a fast one

Good man, and I'm happy to help. I'm bumping this in case anyone has anything helpful to add or wants to correct anything I wrote. Good luck with the order - you're going to love the car - Caymans are great little tools (and I mean tools in the nice way). Hopefully you're getting a manual, right? I mean... don't forget to think of the kittens.... they're counting on you.
