Disconnecting the throttle pot

THROTTLE POT -Hi Guys previous advice to check the TP involves disconnecting the wires. Is that just a matter of pulling them off or is that bit of wire a spring clip that secures the connection?? Difficult to see clearly! Can you advise??

You'll have to push the wirething towards the throttlehousing then pull the connector out (down) That's all.
