Bigger crowds for the Tuscans…
Discussion
With the relatively low grids this year the TVR could look at a few new ways to get people in the stands and increase the potential for sponsor, the answer:
F1 stylie grid/pit girls or maybe have the image on the factory cars… Baldrick you up for that
Sorry to all the ladies on the site if this is construed as blatant sexism well…… err…… yes it’s exactly that but there are extenuating circumstances it’s Friday and it’s sunny
in the city and the office girls are out sunning themselves

No necessarily true.
The girls at Snetterton flogging 'Win a Ferrari' tickets braved the weather in little Ferrari tops. The amazing thing was they all seemed to change into hot pants as it started getting dark on the Saturday night.
At that stage I was dressed in fleece, ski jacket, gloves and PH fleecy hat, just to give you an idea of the temperature.
I felt very, very sorry for them.

Almost all motor racing in the UK suffers from pitiful crowds compared to how many people should be there. The culture needs to be changed to make a dramatic difference. Facilities are generally crap, food crap, tickets prohibatively expensive, often cold and wet and nowhere much to shelter let alone sit down and there's little publicity. Many don't buy a programme because they're a rip off so don't know what's going on and motorsport coverage in the mainstream press is conspicuous by its absence.
And the TV coverage is pants. We cannot have sky due to living in a conservation area - they used to show the Tuscans on C4/ITV but that has stopped. Also what has happened to the F3/GT on channel 4 this morning? Got up early to watch it and it is Speedway.

Also at Silverstone but this time British GT's one year, grid girls standing backs to the cars, a Marcos takes it's place on the grid, and just taps the back of the girls ankles with the front spliter, down she goes landing with a thud on the bonnet
