Fine, next time my engine goes bang - I'm up for one of these. Richard says that the SB chassis doesn't change, but everything, bar box, is new.

Is it just me or have they kept this quite quiet?

I will be very interested in the costs, particularly compared to similar powered SBCs.

They have kept it very quiet.
Maybe they had to get contracts crossed off before going to press, or they have aftermarket ecu or throttle set up that needed perfecting?

A few people have been saying why don't the factory use the LS engine.
It’s nice the factory now say hey we listen to our customers and give them what they ask for.

I’ll be interested to see their price list too.

Well done the factory.

They've developed the fly-by-wire throttle, dry-sump, shifter setup, and exhaust, of course. Didn't ask about OBD-2, but I guess it would almost have to be in there. Wonder what engine mangement system is used. Pricing should be available next week for delivery in 12 weeks. Yes, well done. clap

NIce.... I recall an email to Richard last week that ended

"I still dont understand why you guys dont push the LS engine as an option..... its so mellow at idle and without the blower would still be a monster"

Someone earlier was saying they believed the factory had already delivered an LS7 GTR to a customer.

Had a good long chat to Ted today, at the show. The development of the LS7 was totally customer driven, and it's timing has been forced by the development of the factory approved ECU - which they are now happy with.

Being in the business myself, I have to agree that you don't make any noise about a product, until you can support the interest that the announcement makes!!

Personally, I think they've done it just right.

We are gonna see a few more Euro GTRs I'd say.

Bring it on!
