I think they were from a citroen visa? scrapyard job maybe?
I could do with one also if you find a decent new replacement, i'm fed up with re-building the runners to help an obviously struggling motor!
this will be one of my next jobs in a few weeks, so if you dont have any look getting one I will probably be scatting around myself to find an alternative.

This must be the time of year for broken window winder motors then!
I decided to repair /replace the passenger side motor myself a few weeks ago. Searched the forum trying to find what car it came from: maybe possibly rover 800, or maybe possibly citroen, or manual winders from an Audi 80.
Asked TVRcarparts if they had a motor, or a mechanism, but they must have been so shocked by my question that the didn't even respond.
Spend some time at breakers yards, only to find that Rover 800 winder mechanism are definitely different. I did find some mechanisms that were exactly the same as the ones in my S2, but they had a handle where the motor should be. according to the guy behind the counter the were from 'some old Fiat'. I finally bought a complete mechanism from a 'Fiat Brava 5-door' (that's what the label says) to modify it to fit inside the TVR door. The TVR door being a bit smaller dan most cars, and the window moving up and down at quite a steep angle, means that I have to remove all brackets, remove both wheels that the cable runs on, shorten the rails, weld back new brackets in a different position, weld back the wheels at a different angle, lengthen the outer cable to make up for the shorter rails, fabricate a new bracket to fit the glass to the slider and fabricate a new bracket for the motor. Hopefully it will all still fit inside the door. I haven't had time to finish the job though.
If the Griffith motor fits with no or little modification, at 130 pounds it becomes quite an attractive offer...
