Just took it out of the car and bench tested it, it definatley has an intermittent fault,It produced a spark this morning,and the next minute it didn't,have also stripped the msd and cannot see any thing obvious,just thought I would share that with you!!

Oh forgot to say,ordered everthing yesterday(distributor,plugs and msd)from american speed,I am tracking it on ups,It arrived at east midlands airport this morning and has left,they are still quoteing saturday delivery instead of tomorrow,this country is fu@@ed up.

I get a few UPS delivered orders from the States and I also have one that arrived at east midlands airport today. It always arrives the day after for me! Mine is MSD parts too! Nothings wrong with mine it's just spares!

They seem to be getting a bad rep with you ultima guys, is it always the same part that dies?

I used to run a mallory dual point and the condensor died regulary - i always carried a spare. Also when i changed to GM HEI the ignition module failed once, so i always kept a spare.

And now that i'm running EDIS - I purchased a spare edis8 module also.
