It may not be fast but it looks superb I hung about for the owner but got bored and left.

one of my favourites! Love that car so much. Admittedly really only saw my first one on "Doc Holiday' (a Michael j Fox movie!) and it was in red with gold lettering lick

Replica?

I can't imagine anyone putting those speakers in the footwell of an original.

It was a pretty damn convincing replica then.
I looked at the speakers and they didnt seem to be attached to any part of the car but who knows

Just tap the wings - it's a replica for sure, but proof positive that a genuine Speedster is probably even more difficult to spot than a genuine Cobra...

What sort of money would an original in this condition go for?

There have been a couple of restored ones for sale in the South Kensington showrooms carrying price tags of between £80 - £100K. Paragon had one recently but I don't know how much they got for it; rumoured to be in 6 figures!

It has to be a rep. Who in there right minds would park an original in THAT condition next to a battered Toyota Corrola? You know there is gonna be paint or a dent on the passenger door when you get back!
