Porsche Driving Experience

Went to one of these last Thurs and drove a 2.7 Cayman for the first time - obviously not as quick as the 3.4, but a lovely car to drive - very well balanced and agile even with 50 profile tyres. Then had a go in a 911 Targa Tiptronic - on the track this is pretty awful - wallowy, soft, heavy and not much fun. Star car of the day was the new 3.4 Boxster S with PCCB, 19s, PASM and Sport Chrono - this car changed my mind about all 4 of these options! It was unbelievably quick and agile, brakes simply amazing and so sharp - it made the Targa feel like a boat. Would still have my Cayman S over a Boxster S, but it would be a much closer call than last year.
