993 makeover

Bubbling paint / rust on the scuttle of my 993 has led to tactical repair and repaint job - got to admit didn't see the ££££s coming, but it has sorted out a problem area on my 993. Only problem is the car's obviously had bits and pieces of paint not too professionally applied in the past and its developing a bit of a patchwork appearance.

Now thinking about biting the bullet and having a full bare-metal repaint job done. Anybody had this done? If so how much should I be budgeting for? Any recommendations in the North West (currently talking to 9M)?

Also, anybody use armourfend to protect front of their car - is it noticeable / obvious, or does it look OK?
