O.K. Dennis, shattit.
You have been identified as a shandy drinker and, as such, are unworthy to peel my spuds.
And Richard
are you blond? 'Blasting' thru the sevice stations is all well and good but might be missed by those coming from the frozen wastelands (that's Scotland to you) if you dont let them know when. And then there is the small matter of me being in the 'pony and trap' (I'm not worthy)
And then there is the routing problem.

Its not that difficult, if we know what time the most northerly cars are setting off you can estimate what time they would pass each service station, then make sure you are waiting at the service station before that time, when a group of TVRs pass then you get in your car and catch them up. Easy, simple and works...
PS I am not blond, but from your comment above I wonder about you?
Right then.
A week to get ready and I havn't got a thing to wear
Latest thinking is leaving Knutsford services 9.30 ish. (so be a touch earlier)
Whaddaya think.
Anyone got any better suggestions?
Anyone want to do a bit of extra mileage and take in some more roads near the venue
eg leaving M5 @ J6 going A4538

OK, just booked tickets. Because of work arrangements, and picking up my wifes new ride (Audi A2) There'll be four of us in three cars - what a waste of fossil fuels! Chim 400 (Red), Audi A8 and Audi A2. Will be swapping the Audis for a blue Chim 500 (Speed 12 conversion) when we get to Rugby.
My 3 yr old son Alex is going to be hyper when he sees a convoy of TVR's. Shame he won't be able to make the event itself ... maybe I could just put him on the parcel shelf of the Chim!!! (only kidding)
[Postcript]Won't be able to make it after all. Alex will have to make do with spotting lone TVR's on Saturday PM instead!

Knutsford 9.30 sounds good, just prey to God my TiV is ready otherwise I will be the guy sulking at the back in my Corsa 1.2. Thinking about it might just bumble down on my own and keep out of the way of you big boys.
