it is just my car or is there no visual volume indicator on a 52 plate 996tt with pcm1?
not really bothered but i don't want to blow the bose as i do love my music loud.

I have the same problem on my 2003 TT, although I think your ears will start to bleed before the bose/s blow up - still would be nice to know which level your at.
more worried about blowing the speakers then my ears popping.
so i assume there is no visual indicator that the previous owner switched off?
